Formula Ford Team Canada logosEight racing drivers were recently named finalists for two seats provided by the Team Canada Scholarship.

The two drivers who will be selected to represent Canada at this year’s Formula Ford Festival will come from two different levels of junior open-wheel  racing.  The first group was chosen from the USF2000 series and the second group of finalists was chosen from the F1600 level, specifically,  the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship and the Formula Tour 1600 Series.

The four finalists from the F1600 level are Olivier Bedard, Thomas McGregor, Zacharie Robichon, and Craig Willis.

“This is a very strong group of drivers as usual out of F1600.  Like our two previous years we believe any one of them would represent us well this coming October at Brands Hatch.  It is always a difficult decision to make and look forward to seeing how the season progress’s for all of them. “ comments Team Canada founder Brian Graham.
