Up-and-coming junior formula car drivers Jake Eidson and Wyatt Gooden will drive for Afterburner Autosport in the 2013 USF2000 National Championship.

Both drivers have an impressive resume with Eidson claiming the Skip Barber Summer and Winter Championships in 2012 and Gooden producing a solid runner-up finish in the 2012 F2000 Championship Series, after winning the 2011 F1600 Formula F Championship.

This is a very solid signing for Afterburner Autosport; both drivers have shown exceptional talent and should push each other in 2013. The duo takes to the track next week, Feb. 5-6, for the USF2000 Winterfest.

Update: Jake Eidson has only been confirmed for the first round of the USF2000 Winterfest, not the full season. Stay tuned for updates.
