Canadian Garett Grist has signed with Andretti Autosport for the 2013 USF2000 National Championship.

Grist, 17, will make the jump to USF2000 after developing his craft in karts and formula ford competition. Last season, in the F1600 Formula F Championship Series, Grist finished fourth with seven top-10 finishes, including three runner-up results (VIR, Mid-Ohio, Summit Point).

Last fall, Grist was awarded the prestigious Team Canada scholarship which allowed the young driver to travel to Europe and compete in both the Formula Ford Festival and Walter Hayes Trophy.
