Somehow I missed posting this draft last month, Matthew Brabham will drive for Andretti Autosport in the 2013 Pro Mazda Championship.

Brabham — a third generation racer — will pilot the No. 27 Pro Mazda machine in 2013 with Shelby Blackstock already confirmed as a teammate on the Andretti Autosport roster. Brabham, 18, looks to continue his ascension of the Mazda Road to Indy driver development ladder after winning the 2012 USF2000 National Championship.

Brabham capped off his 2012 campaign with 11 podiums, including four victories. He started from pole position six times and secured the fast lap in eight races. This is a good signing for Andretti Autosport and it will be fun to watch Brabham in 2013.
