Pabst Racing last week announced it has signed three drivers for the 2013 USF2000 National Championship.
Returning to the team this season is Dalton Kellett — driving the No. 5 machine. Kellett, who was a nominee for the Team Canada Scholarship in both 2011 and 2012, wrapped up his rookie campaign with four top-10 finishes, including a best finish of seventh at Mid-Ohio. The team has also secured Series’ sophomore Jason Wolfe who finished the 2012 season with four top-10 results, including an eighth-place finish at Baltimore.
Canadian rookie Jesse Lazare (No. 21) will make his USF2000 debut with the squad. Both Lazare and Wolfe plan to participate in the USF2000 Winter Series as well.
Lazare, a successful karter, made the jump to F1600 last season running a few races in both the Formula Tour 1600 Series (two podiums) and the F1600 Formula F Championship Series. Watch for continued development from the team as the season progresses.
