Zach Veach will remain in an Andretti Autosport car for 2013, but this time he’ll be driving in the top-development series of the Mazda Road to Indy; Indy Lights.

Veach, 17, will pilot the No. 12 Andretti Autosport Indy Lights car in the 2013 championship. Last season, in Star Mazda, Veach had nine top-10 finishes.

After setting the fastest lap of all Indy Lights drivers in last October’s Chris Griffis Memorial Mazda Road to Indy test at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Veach will look to carry his momentum into the 2013 season.

Never been a fan of Zach. More of a ride buyer and self promoter than a racer. But best of luck to him anyway.
