Trent Hindman has signed with Brian Graham Racing to compete in the remaining rounds of the 2011 Ontario Formula Ford Championship.
The talented 15-year-old plans to balance his time between the Skip Barber National Championship and the OFFC for the remainder of the season. Hindman will make his debut with the team June 11-12 in Montreal during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend while running in the Formula Tour 1600 support race.
The combination of Hindman and BGR Team Grote will likely be a potent one. This should be an excellent learning experience for the New Jersey native and he will make a solid addition to the team’s lineup.
The squad has captured the OFFC Rookie of the Year award for the past five seasons and a sixth-consecutive honor isn’t out of the question.
BGR recently signed New Zealand’s Chris Vlok to campaign the 2011 Formula Tour 1600 championship. Hindman and Vlok will join regulars Ayrton Triolo and Kieran Murphy in Montreal.
As usual Brian Graham has a talented roster in place for 2011.
