Stefan Wilson made quite an impression on residents in Waterloo, Indiana.
The city — which boasts a population of just over 2,000 — declared April 29, 2011, Stefan Wilson Day. To the best of my knowledge Wilson just became the first Indy Lights driver to have a day named after him/her.
Wilson, who drives the No. 5 Andretti Autosport Indy Lights car, spoke to students at Waterloo Elementary School before handing out 36 Indianapolis Pole Day tickets to students and teachers at the gathering.
