Does anyone see any young driver as a so called “Favorite” meaning though car experience raw talent or connection to Barber?

    Timmy,

Not yet. With 44 karters, there’s such a broad range in terms of experience. There’s no doubt these kids are incredily talented. Some of them we (SBRS Staff) are more familiar with, but that doesn’t really matter as each contestant is being judged on their overall performance here–not what they’ve done leading up to the event. So far, the kids are doing great. They’re incredibly professional and having a blast on the skidpad and autocross today.

Yeah ofcourse everyone starts with a equal opportunity but I just thought some karters that have always been great in karts or some drivers that already have barber, scca, or some kind of car experience may be ahead of the competition. Its just natural to have a attachment to a driver you have known in past events
