The 2011 Indy Lights schedule was released earlier this month. The new calendar features twelve races with a few new additions and a return to the historic Milwaukee Mile.

New additions include Trois-Rivières, Baltimore and the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The Indy Lights series will headline the GP3R event in Quebec, but will be joined by Star Mazda, a part of the Road to Indy ladder system.

Here’s how it breaks down:

  • 50% ovals
  • 41.67% temporary street circuits
  • 8.33% permanent road courses

As a whole, the schedule looks really good. At first glance it appears heavy on the temporary street circuits, but the venues chosen are excellent.

Without further ado, here’s your 2011 Indy Lights schedule…
