Australian driver Luke Ellery will join JDC Motorsports as the team’s newest USF2000 National Championship driver in the Series final weekend of 2010 at Road Atlanta.

Ellery, 21, who was originally planning a full-season in the 2010 USF2000 National Championship, opted to stay in Australia and compete in the Victorian Formula Ford 1600 Championship for 2010.  He currently leads the overall championship heading into the final round at Phillip Island.

Per his website: “This season has statistically been my best year yet, with a win in every single race I’ve finished.  Hopefully we can keep the momentum going for the final round at Phillip Island and place another championship on the resume.”

Ellery hopes to run a full-season in the 2011 USF2000 National Championship.  You can take a ride with him in his Formula Ford at Sandown here.

He plans to test with JDC at Road Atlanta on September 28, in order to get acclimated with the car and team before making his debut.
