Juan Pablo Garcia has signed with Michael Crawford Motorsports and plans to run Round Nine at Mid-Ohio and Round Ten at Infineon Raceway. Garcia made his Indy Lights debut last season at Infineon, starting 16th and finishing 18th.
In 2008, Garcia competed in a Formula Renault 2.0 car in both the Eurocup and the NEC. Additionally, he has experience in British F3 and A1GP (Team Mexico).
The 22-year-old Mexican driver hasn’t exactly stood out in a crowd but this looks to be a good opportunity for him to get back behind the wheel, especially with the familiar guidance of Michael Crawford. Last year, Garcia made his debut with HVM Racing — under the tutelage of Crawford.
