The mid-season EFCN Driver Rankings were released this morning. The July 14th edition didn’t feature much change at the top with Conor Daly retaining the No. 1 ranking.
The biggest mover inside the top-20 was F2000 Championship competitor Tim Minor, jumping up 16-spots from the June edition. Mikhail Goikhberg — who competes in USF2000, F2000 Championship, and the Ontario Formula Ford Championship — launched 40 spots this month and is now ranked 35th after being 75th last month.
Chris Livengood made the biggest push, jumping up 46-spots this month, coming in 65th overall. Livengood, who is competing in the F2000 Championship, is in his first full-season of car racing. Just this week, it was announced that he will pick up some additional support from Primus Racing. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to see Livengood continue his climb in the coming months.
Pacific F2000 competitor Miles Maroney has put together a really solid year on the West Coast and jumped up 41-spots this month, coming in 64th overall.
Tatiana Calderon (Star Mazda) is continuing to develop. I think we are just beginning to see what she’s capable of in a race car. She is up 36-spots from the June edition at 91st and was up 77-spots last month for a total of 113-spots in the last two-months. Watch for even more progress from the young Colombian next month.
Also from the Star Mazda ranks, Tristan Vautier improved 40-spots, coming in 80th. Over the the last two months, he’s gained 95 spots.
Once again, there was a fair amount of movement in the rankings. It’s extremely disappointing to see so many talented drivers continuing to drop with the “Not Active” tag next to their name.
