Using my trusty google-translator it has come to my attention that Walker Racing may have signed Spanish driver Carmen Jorda for the 2010 Indy Lights season. I haven’t received any sort of official confirmation from Walker Racing…but Pablo Juanarena of Marca.com seems pretty sure of the news.
For now, we will just have to wait for an official confirmation or refutal from the parties involved.
Carmen Jorda spent the 2009 season in European F3 Open which used to be known as the Spanish F3 Championship. The 21-year-old managed to finish on the podium twice in the Copa de España division. She also ran three races in a LMP2 car in the Le Mans Series.
Again…nothing official here, but judging from this video, we might be able to guess who her sponsor will be.
