No huge surprises here, Pippa Mann has announced that she will drive for Sam Schmidt Motorsports in 2010. Mann, 25, completed several tests with the team shortly after the conclusion of the 2009 season.
In 2009, Pippa drove for Panther Racing in the Indy Lights series. Her best finish occurred in the final race of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway where she finished 8th. Her qualifying effort was very solid in the final event as well— she qualified 3rd. She had 3 top-ten finishes in 2009.
Pippa seemed to really gel with SSM during her off-season testing. She completed three tests with the team, once at Sebring, once at Barber Motorsports Park, and once at Kentucky Speedway.
