I just received word that today’s highly anticipated Champion’s Test was cancelled. Both Adam Christodoulou (2009 Star Mazda Champion) and Alexander Rossi (2009 IFM-Rookie of the Year) were scheduled to test a Sam Schmidt Motorsports Indy Lights car at Putnam Park, Indiana.
Reportedly, Alexander Rossi has an opportunity to run next weekend’s GP2-Asia race in Abu Dhabi with Ocean Racing Technology. With the imminent opportunity to race in GP2-Asia, Rossi was unable to attend today’s Indy Lights test.
According to Sam Schmidt, the test will be re-scheduled for a later date.
