Comtec Racing has signed Greg Mansell to run the World Series by Renault season-finale at Motorland Aragon in Spain this weekend.  The move to Comtec has been expected for the better part of two-months now.

Mansell started out the 2009 season in the World Series by Renault driving for Ultimate-Signature.  His best FR3.5 finish this season is 9th—which occured at Spa—after starting the race in 15th.  Since leaving Ultimate, he has competed in an LMP1 car and the Atlantic Championship.  The 21-year-old tested the Atlantic car with Genoa at Gingerman Raceway last month before making a start at Road Atlanta.

Greg hasn’t officially made any commitments for 2010, but if he chooses to stay in Europe he will likely spend another year in the Formula Renault 3.5 car.
