There hasn’t been a ton of news from the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch just yet, but I’m sure things will start to pick up. Heat races are the next session for Team USA Scholarship drivers Brett Smrz and Connor De Phillippi.

The track is a bit wet this morning. We should get a bit of rain experience. It isn’t supposed to rain this weekend, but they are saying it most likely will for Silverstone.
Connor and I are P1 and P2 right now in the rain. Only a couple of hundreths seperating us. We are 6 tenths faster than 3rd place at the moment. Hard to get a clean lap, but we can definitely gain some more time.
The track was dry that session. I ended up P3. The times are sooooo tight. Top 6 are within a tenth or so.
Not much to really say. It’s the same story every session. Just about a tenth off pace. Qualifying is my next session tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can get a quick time in and I will be set for some racing.

Day one of testing went quite well. P.2 about 2 tenths off. Now to tomorrow!!
Day 2 went really well. About half a tenth off end of the day.
p.2 end of the day today. About a few hundredths off p.1. Its very close. Now on to qualifying.
