As most of the junior formula championships in North America have been decided, the dreaded off-season is nearly upon us.  That doesn’t mean the coverage here will stop.

It seems like a good time to give you a “heads-up” on what you can expect to find on Junior Open Wheel Talent (JOWT) in the coming months.

Testing Updates
As always I will be focusing on testing.  I will do my best to keep you up to date on “Who’s Testing With Who“.  Hint— if you are a team owner or a driver and want some free press, simply send me an email about who/what you are testing.

Open Wheel News/ Twitter
Over the next few weeks you can expect some more updates on Team USA.  Make sure to follow me on Twitter: www.Twitter.com/JOWT for the latest news.  Actually, I post quite a few tidbits on Twitter that never make it to JOWT— so make sure to follow along if you are interested in the content here.

Dark Horse Awards
Most of the junior formula series have already handed out some end-of-the-season awards to their drivers.  I plan to write a post that highlights a “dark horse” or two from the 2009 season.  Stay tuned for that.

Year In Review
I will do a Year-In-Review post highlighting some of my favorite articles and news tidbits from the previous year. This might be a bit monotonous for you loyal readers, but it will hopefully make for some interesting reading for newcomers to the blog.

Driver Profile
I plan to continue writing Driver Profile’s as that seems to be a pretty big-hit… plus it’s great exposure for today’s up-and-coming stars.  In case you’ve missed previous editions, make sure to check them out here.  I also have some additional plans in place for improved driver coverage, but I’m not going to post my idea just yet.

The Usual
I will continue my original coverage of all-things-junior-formula, just wanted to give you a look at some ideas I have in place for the 2009-2010 off season.  Feel free to send me an email if I’ve missed anything or if you have suggestions for improvement.  Feedback is extremely important to me, so feel free to let me know “What You Like” or “What You Don’t Like”.  Email: junioropenwheeltalent @ gmail dot com.

As always, thanks for reading.
