Arie Ouimet Wins a Formula Mazda Race Weekend

Arie Ouimet, of Team SSC East, won the KF2 National Championship over the weekend in CKI’s Grand Championship event held at the Oklahoma Motorsports Complex in Norman, Ok.  Not only did he win the National title, he also won a weekend of Formula Mazda racing courtesy of the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving.  The race weekend is valued at approximately $3500.

Ouimet had a great year running in the Championship Karting International KF2 class.  He competed in three of the four events this season and his worst finish in a final was second.  Here’s a look at his results from 2009:
