Kyle Marcelli
Kyle Marcelli signed with Team GDT for the Star Mazda Championship season finale at Laguna Seca. The 19-year-old Canadian driver has previously ran two Star Mazda events. His inaugural race came in 2007 at the Grand Prix of Toronto, he finished 11th. Last year, he made another one-off stop with the series, this time at Road Atlanta where he finished an impressive fourth.
In 2009, he has been focusing on Skip Barber National competition and L1 IMSA Light competition.
The Star Mazda championship concludes its 2009 season this weekend at Laguna Seca on October 10th, 2009.
Is he running #65 or will GDT be dunning JW, Rick + the new guy?
Kyle will be running Rick Rosin’s #30 car. Team owner JW Roberts will be running the #65 car.
