Conor Daly is currently at the Kirkistown Circuit in Ireland testing a Wayne Douglas prepared Formula Renault 2.0. After three days of testing at Kirkistown, the 17-year-old American will travel to Snetterton for another FR 2.0 test.
When asked about his plans for 2010, Conor was noncommittal and stated that for right now he is just testing and learning as much as possible. He did offer a little insight on his experience with the Formula Renault 2.0 car:
It’s an interesting car, not as quick as the Star Mazda but very nimble. It felt so small!

Curious this. I would have expected a test in a bit higher-classed car. F3 or the like for example… Same team for the second test?
3 days, thats a lot of testing at Kirkistown, there really isnt a lot to learn about the track. Its quick though so its a little like snett in that regard
Kevin,
He will be driving for Wayne Douglas at Snetterton as well.
I don’t know for sure, but I’m assuming Conor is using the test as an opportunity to gain additional seat time while learning the European tracks. It’s probably safe to say that this is one of the many cars he will test prior to making an official announcement for 2010.
