Take a ride with Brett Smrz in his Skip Barber National entry at Virginia International Raceway. This video is a great example of how close the racing is in the National series.
Make sure to watch Lap #2, where Smrz nearly passes three cars under braking into the Horse Shoe at turn 1. He then slides into turn 11, hard on the brakes, using a quick opposite lock to overtake another competitor. The drafting in these cars is absolutely amazing on the long back straight. You will see first hand how the draft can negatively impact you in the closing moments, when Brett goes from the 1st to 4th with only 4 corners remaining in the event.
