Court Vernon, 17- Key Biscayne, FloridaCourt Vernon

Current Season:  Court is currently competing in the Skip Barber National Series after winning the Skip Barber Karting Scholarship in December of 2008.  He has 4 pole positions (the most of any competitor) and 6 podiums to his name after 10-events.  He won Round-8 at the Barber Motorsports Park and has been a front runner all season long.

Previous Experience:

  • Karting
  • (2008) Skip Barber Regional (1st overall)
  • (2008) Star Mazda (1-race)

Why He Would Be A Good Selection: Court has a tremendous amount of natural talent.  He has done well in the karting ranks, he won 8 races in the Skip Barber Eastern Regional Series last year, he drove from 20th to 9th in his first Star Mazda race, and he won the 2008/2009 Skip Barber Karting Scholarship Shoot-Out.  He is currently the top rookie in Skip Barber National standings.  If he is chosen, he will be a great representative for Team USA.
