Timmy Megenbier, 18- Melrose Park, Illinois
Current Season: Timmy is currently leading the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup championship with 3 wins and 6 podiums. He has finished on the podium in 85.7% of his races this year. In early August, Megenbier traveled to Germany as part of the VW exchange program and competed in the ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup at Oschersleben.

Why He Would Be A Good Selection: Timmy has been driving karts since he was four years old. He has diversified his racing skills nicely by competing in various types of cars & karts over the years. His experience this season in Germany should help him adapt to the European racing scene faster than some of his counterparts.
Timmy Megenbier is my nephew and a wonderful kid. We have been watching him race since he was 4 years of age it is a natural talent he has and is great at it. If VW has him on their team he will be a great asset for them and has been proving it at every race this year and many more years to come.
