Snow Sets Rossi Back

Alexander Rossi doesn’t seem to have much pre-season luck… last week, in his first International Formula Master test, the 17-year-old pilot battled electrical gremlins at Imola, Italy while testing for Trident Racing. This week, he was snowed out, during a planned test with Hi-Tech Racing at Spa-Francorchamps, in Belgium.

The series has scheduled a two-day test at the Automotodrom Brno in the Czech Republic in late April to take the place of the scheduled Spa test. The final Formula Master pre-season test will take place the following weekend April 27-28 at the Hungaroring in Hungary.

The cancellation of Spa this week will likely postpone any team announcements from Rossi, who seems determined to make his 2009 commitment to the International Formula Master series. Stay tuned for more updates…
