Edwards had a solid run, winning by a fairly large margin; 7.424 seconds over JDC Motorsport’s Joel Miller. Irishman Peter Dempsey wasn’t able to keep his winning streak alive, but managed to cross the stripe in third…taking the final spot on the podium.

John Edwards took the third and final spot while still battling a severe cold that caused him to collapse on the podium. Edwards actually was ahead of Dempsey in the race until a car spun in front of him, forcing evasive action. It was a very good effort by the young American who was obviously under physical duress.
